T O P I C R E V I E Wana_beeSo if you knew that someone was more compatible with someone else.. from an astrological pov.. would this influence you to let that person go and reconsider your feelings? I’m not talking about ditching your current relationship, just because you’ve seen that they have better synastry with their co-worker! I’m talking about someone you used to date, and who’s currently dating someone else now..Just curious. There’s something that bothers me lately. LuckyLeoI did this. I think it might depend on the natal chart, how self-sacrificing you are as a person. Look to see if Pisces or Neptune features prominently in your chart, especially the areas related to relationships (descendant, descendant-ruler, venus). It does for me and I'm curious if that's the case for you too, if you wish to share.LuckyLeoDouble postLuckyLeoI'm sorry for all the double posts, I'm not sure why it's doing thatChildofVenusIs this about the guy you were talking about before?Edit: Why would you stick around if the person is dating someone else? Not trying to complicate an answer, but I think compatibility means different things to different people. Not all people are piqued by the same traditionally positive aspects and placements, I think. I've met people who I was technically very compatible with, both in friendly and romantic terms, that I wasn't wholly interested. Timing, place, where you are in life all factor in.So if I knew that I was very compatible with someone astrologically and I did not feel it in person, I do think I would do a sort of interpersonal "double take", but I would never try to force it on account of astrology. I try to be guided my instincts and observations first and foremost.HieronymusTushI read your question again and I think you meant something else slightly. But most of my answer still stands in that I try to be guided by my observations and instincts. Who do I want to be with? Who does the person want to be with? If both people want to be with each other, who cares that they have better astrological compatibility with someone else? The world is filled with people that we are technically "better off" with. I would rather analyse my own feelings and relationship than let other hypothetical dynamics shape them...Hikaru29If I really like a person and he likes me too and wanna be with me, I will not let the stars tell me what to do. So for your case, who does he wanna be with in reality? If it's the other gal and even if they have a horrible chart, let him go.
